Malia Rock is 17 but as many people who know her often say... ‘She is wise beyond her years' -that will be apparent when reading her book.

She was raised by a single mom until she was 7 and then when her mom married her step-dad she soon became the older sister of two brothers. Her dad  Bill Stierle is an executive consultant and trainer who specializes in mediation and conflict resolution. Her Mom Suzanne Rock-Stierle has been leading empowerment training programs for girls and women for the past 12 years.

It is within this environment that Malia gained her own unique outlook on communication and understanding parents. She hopes her perspective makes a difference for her readers. She currently lives in Los Angeles with her parents and her two brothers Aidan 8 and Tristan 3.
